Canadian Rockies International Airport is committed to providing accessible facilities and services for all passengers. All public areas of the terminal are fully accessible for passengers using wheelchairs or requiring mobility assistance. Additional assistance is available through airline partners for support within the terminal and to and from the aircraft.

Requesting Assistance

If you require assistance during your journey:

  • Contact your airline when booking your flight to request any required services.
  • Confirm your request with your airline before travel to ensure arrangements are in place.
  • Inform airline staff upon arrival at the airport if you require assistance within the terminal or to the aircraft.

Airline partners can provide assistance within the terminal and to and from the aircraft.

Service Animals

Requirements for travelling with service animals vary by airline. Contact your airline at the time of booking to confirm requirements and ensure all necessary documentation is completed before travel.

Service animal relief areas are available pre-security in grass areas at either end of the terminal building, as well as in the field at the edge of the parking area.

Accessible Parking & Drop-Off

Accessible parking and drop-off areas are located close to the terminal to support convenient access for passengers requiring mobility assistance.

  • Accessible Parking:
    Five designated accessible parking stalls are located in the first row of the parking lot, directly west of the terminal and closest to the terminal entrance.
  • Accessible Drop-Off:
    A designated drop-off area is available curbside at the south end of the terminal for quick and convenient access.
