Winter Travel

Winter Operations

Canadian Rockies International Airport operates year-round, with winter conditions managed as needed to maintain safe operations. Snow removal is carried out on an as-needed basis across runways, taxiways, and apron areas and does not impact flight schedules.

Passengers are encouraged to wear appropriate footwear during winter conditions, as boarding and deplaning require walking outdoors between the terminal and aircraft.
